CNC Pocket Tools
Speeds and feeds live in PDFs, in forum posts and in a notebook someone left by the mill. None of that helps when you are standing at the machine with a new tool and no signal.
WHAT IT CALCULATES
- Spindle speed from surface speed and tool diameter, and back the other way
- Feed rate from chip load and flute count
- Radial chip thinning, applied to the feed so the tool cuts instead of rubbing
- Material removal rate, spindle power and torque
- Drill sizes and tap drill charts, imperial and metric
EVERYTHING OFFLINE
The whole calculation engine runs on the phone. No connection, no account needed to calculate. The numbers are identical whether you are online or not.
YOUR SHOP, NOT A GENERIC TABLE
Save the tools you actually own and the materials you actually cut, with the surface speeds that work on your machine. Log each cut with what happened, so next time you start from what worked instead of from a chart.
FREE AND PRO
Every calculator is free. Pro adds the unlimited tool library, the cut log and export.
These are reference values. Start conservative and work up. You are responsible for what happens at the machine.
